Hi, so I recently posted a question about trying out for girls lacrosse in high school with no experience. So there's a camp that I signed up for this July that would be able to help me prepare for high school lacrosse. The problem is, I'm pretty scared to go. I'm bad at meeting new people and I feel like I'll have no idea what I'm doing at the camp and everyone else will already know how to play. I was just wondering if anyone knew some exercises or drills that I could work on before I went so that Read more [...]
I love to work out but don't know what to buy, a treadmill (as I like to run) or an aero pilates machine with rebounder? I hear that pilates is great exercise and will totally transform your body faster than running.

I am thinking of adding exercise on a rebounder as part of my weight loss routine. Is this a worthwhile plan?

I want to get fit for summer, so I am starting now so I don't have to kill myself at the end of spring and beginning of the summer. Every other day I have been doing a 25 minute exercise tape of the Rebounder and ab workouts from the "abs diet" from prevention magazine, and the workout from the latest issue of seventeen magazine. i have also been trying to drink more water and vegetables, but i still eat more snacks than i should. and when its spring, i am going to start running/biking Read more [...]

I am 14 years old . 127 pounds. 5 4. i am thinking of trying out for my freshman team in the spring, the problem is that i have never actually been on a team. I want to know how i can get good enough to make the team. I have 10 pound dumbbells if that helps. I have no idea how fast i can pitch but i would like to find out. The radar guns are too expensive tho. I like in Naperville if you know any places where i can test my arm and find out the speed i throw. PLEASE GIVE ME DRILLS AND EXERCISES

140 calories (a little less but i'll round up)
lunch: peanut butter and honey sandwich
134 calories (bread) 190 calories (peanut butter) and 60 calories (honey)
dinner: 1 cup spaghetti

total: 903 calories... or less, i might be off on the peanut butter

I'm hoping there's someone out there that can help. I am 42 years old and have 2 kids. I used to weigh about 105 lbs. about 4 years ago, but have gone up to 121 since I've remarried. I know I will never get back to 105, but would seriously be happy with being between 110 and 115. I have been trying everything lately. I exercise every day (4 miles walks, used to walk 6 but knees can't handle the extra miles anymore). If I can't walk I do the rebounder for 1/2 hour. I also do toning 3x a week Read more [...]
My gym told me that at my age I don't have to be afraid of becoming muscle bound by exercising, because it can't happen. I don't want it to happen, just want to stay firm and toned and maintain my size and weight. I'm 5' 4" and have always weighed 113-118 pounds. All of a sudden lately I am weighing in at about 119-120 lbs and can't seem to get below it. What is happening? I don't want to become a big bulky muscle bound woman. Can I exercise too much? I used to jog every day but Read more [...]
