Interesting! Can’t wait to start rebounding. But I’d like to see the results comparing rebounding to an aerobics class, since the movements are more similar.

For the past month I have been Cellercising with a Suunto heart rate monitor on which measures heart rate, calories burned, and a variety of other things as well. I weigh 174 pounds and I burn between 700 and 800 calories per hour Cellercising. For example, yesterday I exercised for 61 minutes and burned 739 calories! My average heart rate is about 145 BPM while Cellercising.

Queenzpyt –good decision and best wishes for a speedy and healthy loss of those pounds. May I recommend that you review your diet as well, and cut out all low-grade sugars. Those would be sodas (even “diet”), white bread, white rice, wheat pasta, cakes, candy etc. Drink lots of water as it is a natural solvent which helps break down fat and remove it from the system. Good health to you! Be safe and be well!

Truly informative and clearly motivational. I just got my rebounder today as well and I am looking fwd to the benefits. Good luck everyone. Peace!

  • pphelpsburg:

You burn more calories rock climbing….900+ per hour depending on your weigh.

  • zombiekicker:

ive not got a cliff in my house lol

  • pphelpsburg:

Maybe I wasn’t commenting on the practicality of the exercise. Maybe I was commenting on the claim that rebounding is the most effective form of exercise known to man.

  • zombiekicker:

    i know hence the LOL

  • ajatkinson2004:

If you can successfully rock-climb you probably are already in shape.

    DUH

  • pphelpsburg:

There are varying levels of rock climbing difficulty just like there are varying levels of difficulty for every exercise.

    DUH

  • ajatkinson2004:

And im sure the easy levels don’t burn 900 calories either

  • Geefunk55:

    Hey there,
I just got a mini-trampoline today and Im super stoked to use it. I would like to tone and lift my buttocks (hehe) what are some of the best exercises I can do for my problem areas. Also, Do you recommend a good workout tape for trampolines? Do you maybe have a full length video here on youtube that will get me into shape in two months?? :)

I recommend watching TV while you rebound. With a T.V. you don’t become bored rebounding and the time flies fast. You can knock out 30 minutes easy on a rebounder if you have a T.V. set in front of you.
